Fordson Super Major Hydraulic issue

I have a fordson super major with a backhoe and front loader that aside form a new starter button and battery has been a great work horse for me. I have used it many times to dig ditches or holes as needed and the front loader works great unloading various equipment as we are starting to get an old farm back up and running. Two days ago I started it drove it around the building to load up the front bucket with various items I needed moved. I turned off the tractor, my wife and I loaded the front bucket with a full but not very heavy load. When I restarted the tractor and went to pick up the front bucket I had nothing. Not even a budge in the hydraulics where sometimes you see the hoses wiggle due to pressure changes. then I notices the backhoe and stabilizers had no hydraulic pressure as well. There are no leaks anywhere, reservoir has the proper amount of hydraulic fluid, and the front mounted hydraulic pump has never made a whine, clunk nothing since the day I drove it to its new home. Any suggestions as to where to start would be greatly appreciated, I thank any help in advance, Roger

Skipper is on to a high probability. Second is a stuck open relief valve. Some pump internal gears are driven by
keys that lock them to the shaft. if the key fails the gears don't turn. It is an open center style, so should show
fluid movement in the reservoir when running and not trying to lift or lower. Good luck

I agree, stripped pump drive spline.

It may be hard to see, but look closely where the shaft goes into the pump. You may need an assistant to operate the valve to load the pump.

Or could be a mechanical failure of the pump. If something got in the pump gears, something has to give, like a sheared drive key or broken gear.

sorry for the delay been busy finishing of redoing the whole cutter bar, guards, and bearing on wobble arm on Oliver 129 haybine. I did look and it is the spline for the pump. Started tractor and could easily tell that the shaft from the tractor was spinning but the shaft going into the pump was not. I do have one question before i dissect the whole thing. after repaired and put back together, is there a best way to prime the pump with fluid or will it work into there as the reservoir tank is quite large and gravity will do the job? I don't want to fix it just to ruin it. Again thank you for all the help thus far it is greatly appreciated.

Your correct in that the reservoir should gravity feed the pump...

then moving everything back and forth through its full range a couple of times will purge the air out.. most air, the first couple of cycles...
