Some flys where trying to escape from the rain in my shop. I had to fix that. Best $55 I have spent. Yes the laser sight is worth the money. The seed salesman loves coming over and shooting flys to kill time.

The junkyard here in town has one sitting on it's waiting room table.It is marked,A Salt Weapon.Everybody picks it up and plays with it.It works good on the flies,but it really ticks off yellow jackets and hornets.Sometimes you will knock one down,but most of the time they just do a roll and head for where the salt came from with blood in their eye.

Killed one fly in the house last week during the rain.

All was well for about three days until 40 of its' friends showed up for the funeral.

May have to get one, have a Harbor Freight badminton zapper which is cool but it drives the dog crazy. Think she can hear the high voltage oscillator.

I bought one for my 10 year old, it's a lot of fun. You'd have to get right up on a carpenter bee, and even then I'm not sure how much damage it would do. FYI, I see Bass Pro/Cabelas has them on sale for $35 in the latest add.

Flies are d*mn near extinct here; maybe a few back in the wetlands. Pesticides have done their job over last 30/40 years. I wonder what the birds find to eat anymore.
