4 cyl. diesel timing

I have a 4 cyl. diesel Ford 1964 industrial backhoe that was dead in the field. I got it to turn over and had the Roosa Master JDB fuel pump re built and put a new fuel filter on it. What is the setting for the flywheel timing marks? I know the timing marks inside the pump window have to line up too. Can someone help? JIM

A little late now , but I'd of told you to check for the marks before you pulled the pump off. And if you could not find any to make your own marks.
I see people repeating this same mistake on here a lot.
Might be some sort of farm tractor I & T manual that would be close to get the info you now need from.

Pump marks should align at 23 degrees BTDC. Pump is a DB, not JDB which fits late John Deere engines only.
