I refuse to own anything that new . How many farmers have all the computers and programs to work on one of the new hunks of junk anyway ?
 
I can't say they are still building them, but they are more than capable of still earning their keep although they are 50 years or more old.

Most the farmers I know anymore don?t want to work on equipment. I they did they would own a repair shop not a farm.
 
Well, the 4020 is worth almost twice as much to purchase, so the perception, real or not, is that the 4020 must be a better tractor....

You could say that, but then a diamond costs more than granite, but I have granite in my driveway where the work gets done and a diamond on my wife's finger to look pretty. It's all perspective once price comes in
 
Well, in my opinion, the Case is a better looking tractor with a sharp colour combination. Both will get the job done.

Now that right there is a sensible thing to say! And I have no problem saying that some of the jd's are easier to drive because of better steering and brakes and such. I can agree that all brands have better and worse qualities than all other brands. Wish everyone could say the same.
 
One was one too many. Should never have gotten off the drawing board. And designer out of a job.
