Got some hay in

Got some hay baled yesterday evening. It is always tricky weather this time of year. The mid west storms are rolling straight at us today. The knotter was acting funny and about 6 bales of the wagon load had a bad knot. I had the tension a little loose as the hay was barely dry enough.

Rolled up a few Tuesday, first ones we've done this year, have a few acres on the ground I'll try to roll tomorrow.
Hopefully next week we'll be going full bore if weather doesn't stop us, have another 140 acres that needs to be cut.

looks like those bales will heat up and tires show moisture looks like better be fed soon , I am glad do not fight that anymore, I got all that type land in crp

We've been chopping grass and some first cutting alfalfa this week because it's starting to bloom. It's not fit to bale around here, it's just been too wet, still way to much moisture in the ground to get anything dry. We were chopping triticale last week that was just starting to head up, it had so much moisture it would hardly do through bagger, looked like pea soup, (dairies are using triticale as a cover crop on corn ground, because it matures earlier than rye and the cows seem to like it).

The "rain gods" are finally smiling here in N. Tx........finally. Baling a field today and another I cut yesterday in a couple of days. Thought for sure I was going to plow this crop back in the ground but guess not.
