AFV Americas funniest videos not so funny

It is amazing what some people think is funny. Did anyone else see AFV last night? A man started his tractor while standing on the ground in front of the right rear tire the tractor took off dragging him until he fell down under the tire and it went up and over him. It didn't kill him but I am sure he felt it the next few days. I am not sure what type tractor it was I was to shocked watching the idiot get dragged along, it must have been a compact but it wasn't a garden size the tire was at least taller than his waist. BTW my wife knew a man that was killed just that way right in front of his wife and young daughter.

I agree-getting injured is not funny. I also do not like the one where the parent is letting a kid ride a quad or a dirt bike and they crash. No training:how to stop, is way more important than how to make it go. No helmet riding or allowing it, is stupid. I like genuine funny stuff-a kid saying or doing something funny. A dog or another animal doing something. But the pi?atas-everyone gets whacked; groin shots; a guy cutting a tree limb and falling with a running chainsaw-not funny, Mark,

My sentiments exactly. I quit watching that show years ago. Seems like it has pretty much morphed into, "How many different ways are there to get hit in the groin?"

. The tragedy is that afv is not the only show that has been dumbed down to cater to it's audience. I honestly can't remember the last time I watched TV, other then for a DVD movie. I could go on for pages listing all the stupidity on tv now days... But I won't.....

Some of the things they show on there regarding kids,if you had those images on your computer,you'd be going away for a long time. I haven't watched that trashy show in a dozen years or more. Ridiculousness on MTV is a way better show. They get all their videos on the internet. Some can be a little sketchy,but if you're watching that show,you know what to expect. No surprises.

They also frequently show someone on a skateboard that falls on their face on concrete. I quit watching the show because of clips like that.

My son lost the $10,000 grand prize (maybe). We had been drilling 8" post holes for a back yard privacy fence. His wife let their 2 Dashhounds out of the house. I had left to return home. He called me laughing so hard he couldn't hardly talk. The dogs were running side by side to see him and one went head first into the open hole and all that was visible was the tip of the tail, naturally no video of it.

My pa had it on, when I saw that vid....I was relieved when the guy got up.

I quit actively watching AFV when Bob Saget left (what that 1997)....since then its been going down hill...fools, kids and pets (being such, nothing actually funny) is about all there is on it any more. And the kids usually win.

We get a station called TBD, it's free. After the local weather is over @ 10:20 we switch to it for a few minutes. Depends on the day, sometimes they show clips called "people are awesome" and they are fun to watch. Other days they show fails, it's ok if no one gets hurt but the falling face first into a sidewalk makes me turn it off.
