Gibson Model D

Hi all, new to the forum. Would like some thoughts on the value of a Gibson model D. It does run....or did run. Tires are shot, I have two more Wisconsin engines to go along with the tractor. I had thoughts of restoring and using around my place but my old 9N seems to be able to do everything I need of a tractor and I doubt I would ever get around to the Gibson.

Gibsons are popular to putter down aisles at a tractor show-IF you can handle that tiller steering!.
Thats about it- a toy nowadays, not a tool.
I see them go for 500.oo-1200.oo running, with a front blade and a plow at auctions.
I also see some ads for them where folks try to get 1500-2000 for a real nice restoration on new tires, but I dont know of any selling for that.....

You didn't say where you are, you might get an offer if folks know how far they would have to drive to get it home.

As long as they are not beat to a pulp. That is about the best money for them. I know two people who have them. They told me it can be a real load of fun trying to get all of those belts to match . Also parts.
