Slipping clutch

I have a JD 5303, the clutch has started slipping. I think there's not enough play in the clutch pedal . How do I give it more play. I have a operators manual, it don't say much.

sounds like your question should be how to split a JD 5303 you probably need a new clutch

There is a turn buckel on the left side of the transmission case, near your left ankle when your on it , a fancy keeper lets you remove the pin to turn it, I'm sure it is hurt,, but may live a while yet.. Any one reading this post that owns one of these 5000 series tractors should go out and adjust this now,,it is so easy to adjust,,but no one thinks about it till it slips..Darn it...
