have the jd-a back together, the question i have now is on the throttle linkage. there is a flat spring that is bolted on the governor, i need to remove the long flat spring to repair the loop on the end, when i remove the square headed bolt that holds it on is anything bad gonna happen ???? or is it safe to take out ?
