Yep , haven't seen one tractor on a field yet! Corn here is usually in the ground by the second week in April , here it is May , ground is wet and rain forecast for the next three days..going planting season !

I got started Tuesday, all I could run was 25 acres of high sand. The rest is way to wet, southern ind.

all depends on the fields but 50-60 is a easy day for the most part,, I was including going over all my summer fallow ground in my acres numbers, I have planted right at 300 acres so far

Nothing planted yet in north central IN. Another .40 rain last evening. Sprayed some chemicals but really had to pick a dry field. Neighbor planted corn Tuesday in the mud. I won't work a field that wet even running a vertical till. Last year we were done planting corn and finished drilling beans the 3rd week of May.

I do have a couple drill fill augers way to slow always hated using them so I went to using the 580CK to load them, drive up to the truck with bed raised seal against the truck with the cutting edge fill the bucket dump it in the drill takes two 3/4 filled buckets is all to have them both full done in under 5 min and back to drilling, I do use augers to move t from bins tot he truck of course

I always hated the augers In the bed to we made a trough out of a piece of tin then used a five gallon bucket to fill and it wasn?t bad

done it that way too,, loader bucket is simple Fast and easy to do for me,, to do 15-20 5 gal buckets a drill or 30 seconds each to fill or dump the loader bucket I will stay the way I am,, I fill them every 15 acres or less so that lets me be planting a whole lot faster than buckets, or the drill fill augers,, takes just a min or so to work the grain down level and in the corners and I am back planting, I watched my Dad make me use the drill fill auger he had all those years I had some decades to decide what I was going to do lol

Ben fixing my 7200 12 row.Last Sunday leaving a field in the rain two of the folded rows spiked closing wheels hooked a dirt pile and totally bent the row unit frames. Ordered 2 from Shoup ,$700, and just finished installing. It's been muddy planting and that in 3 weeks hasn't come up yet. About 25% in ,S WI, and weather is changing. Probably half corn and soybeans will be planted next week starting Sunday.
