We got a new kubota loader last year from a dealer we
sometimes deal with 100 mi away. We?ve always had
excellent service at both there and the one that?s 65 mi away.
The further away one came in quite a bit less so we bought it
there but now they?ve been bought out by the closer one lol.

That?s the way it goes . The big three are are conglomerating dealers use to be 3 John Deere dealers now there?s 2 . Use to be four cnh and now there?s 2 . Agco use to be the best price on swather guards like 9.00$ cheaper than cnh now they merged and they?re one dollar cheaper than cnh and an 80 mile drive so that doesn?t work

SV Kubota company has really not made any moves to push smaller dealers out.. That being said smaller under capitalized dealerships are having harder time holding on and here is the big reason. Twenty years ago I could fill 86% of the folks wanting a part with about forty thousand dollars worth of stock. Now with all the models that have came out in the last twenty years takes over two hundred thousand to do that. Same with whole goods , back then we had tractors and mowers, now much larger tractors, excavators, skid steers, and hay equipment. Nothing for dealership floor plan to be over 3 million now. What it boils down to takes a pretty heavy pocket to stay in and do a good job now day. Smaller dealerships are just selling out rather than go broke.

That?s probably some of the reason the other dealers are selling out to I can only imagine how much it must money it would cost to keep parts for all the machines for one brand of machinery
