3010 remote hyd.

Hello My 3010 remote hyd. is very slow, I tried turnig the screw in at the metering valve a couple of turns but it is very stilf, to the point of breaking or stipping the slotted screw. Does anyone know if this screw should be turned out, or any other sugestions as to how to speed up the remotes. The steering seems fine and resposive.

Out to speed up . I just use a stubby to tighten the
jam nut and not super tight that way I can adjust
them with the tractor running

Does 3 pt raise at normal or slow speed? If 3 pt is also slow pressure control valve under hood could be blocking hyd pressure to scv & 3 pt hitch or stand-by pressure could be low. Has hyd stand-by pressure been checked lately?

Years ago, my neighbors 3010 had a very slow 3 point with good hydraulics. I found the problem was the priority valve. We took it apart and found a metal shaving in it causing it to jam. Removal and cleaning solved the problem and it has been working correctly for at least 25 years.
