Did my community service today

I mowed the weeds around our local private cemetery. Our cemetery is for descendants of the original settlers of our community. I have a lot of friends and family buried there. The weeds around the stones will be cut by hand before memorial day by a lot of people from the community. Stan

Did mine all winter pushing snow at the church and for all the people in town who didn?t have a snow plow some paid some didn?t

When I plow snow for folks, I tell them I cannot charge them, but if they want to gift me something I'll take it. If I charge them, it is a business and the insurance on my truck triples. Like you, some pay, some don't.

I did mine at my church today. I am custodian and every year I organize our spring clean up-fix up day. We had 35 people working, and for me it was a hard nine hour day. Then in the evening I went on a FD rescue call for an SUV vs. JD lawn mower crash. That was another two hours. I was sore!!
