2 cyl deisel overheating

I have a Hinomoto E230 with the S126 2 cyl diesel motor that is overheating. I ve taken the water pump off and the impeller appears to be ok. I ve also taken the radiator and cleaned and flushed it. I ve flushed the block with a water hose and there does not appear to be a blockage since the water flows quickly through it. The tractor will warm up and never stops getting hot. It will overheat about 10 minutes after starting. I have noticed white smoke on startup that quickly clears.

Could my problem be a blown head gasket?
 
Good chance it is a head gasket. Or if it has wet liners could be a pin hole in a liner.

Any sign of coolant in the oil?
 
. How do you know the engine is overheating ? Is the rad cap lifting and blowing steaming coolant ?
Or is it just the temperature gauge reading high.
This would be the time to check the sender and display are both accurate .
What is the actual measured temperature of the engine with a contact or IR thermometer ?
 
It?s actually over heating. It lifts the cap to relieve pressure.
No sign of coolant or water in the oil.
It does not have a thermostat but the previous owner said he took it out hoping it would fix the overheating issue.
I got the tractor free in hopes of fixing it so I?m not sure how long it?s been doing this.
 

Worn crank pulley, worn water pump pulley ,
Worn alternator pulley and worn fan belt . Even when fiddle string tight it still slips .
The other classic is a lower rad hose that is internally collapsing .
 
Problem solved.
A dirty radiator and missing thermostat along with a mostly intact pecan shell in the thermostat housing were the issues causing the overheating. Cleaned, replaced and removed and the temp holds steady within the temp ranges.
Now to repair the voltage regulator on the alternator since it s pushing 17.3 volts to the battery.
