Mounting a grapple

Picked up a grapple at am auction. Want
to mount it on my loader bucket. Any
general guidelines to mount it or just
what looks good and doesn't hit anything?
Plan on making some 4 bolt plates so I
can take it of fairly easy. Don't plan on
grabbing anything heavy mostly to grab
tree limbs and carry to the burn pile. My
loader is a dual and the grapple looks
about the same. Here's what I have mocked
up now. Thanks

To much over hang on the grapple,if your cleaning out manure in a pole barn, you grapple will hit the redwood way before the cutting edge get's to fill the bucket, so then you have to get out and pitch it in. You maybe don't have cattle and a pole barn, but some body will some day !

craigco,

Is it possible to remove the spindle of the hinge and swap it left to right? It would give you a better surface to bolt to. As is, it has the greatest gap towards the backof the bucket, if you swapped it around the gap would at least match the bucket contour.

In other words, remove the hinge "pin" and make the left side the right side. Hope this does not come across gibberish.
