I am not savvy when it comes to internet things. I figured I'd write to you direct. I bought the 2010 6.7 cummins stick late in 2010. Before I took delivery, the dealer hadto install a new program for he ECM before I took delivery ( after I drove it).

I have the sticker under the hood. I drove similarly equipped autoamtics. They definitely reduced the application of available torque for sticks, or something like that. I am looking to restore all the torques/hp the 6.7 can provide. I will take the risk of possible damage of drop-clutching a heavy load, which I will not do.

I talked to several engineers this morning that had worked at the mid range plant and they had no idea why it had to be derated at the dealer. As for Turing it up a recommend getting a tune that you can choose different power settings. A google search will yield alot of results.
