I have a room booked for Thursday night at Mankato MN as we are going to the Le Sueur swap meet on Friday. Are there any tractor salvage yards or used equipment dealers with older equipment (50's thru 80's) in the area? We could spent half a day in the area depending on when we leave in the morning. Jon f how far is that from you? We will travel to Lacrose WI and then into MN. Thanks Tom

I'm about 150 miles from there. But Larson imp in Cambridge is about as great a salvage yard as you could find, and worth the drive to see. Depending on the weather I may come down for the swap on Saturday.

Not really, not that you can just browse anyways. Like other comment lieske tractor always has stuff at le sueur, i think he down sized some. he has alot of stuff on mankato Craigslist. Search farmall. He has other stuff too. If you need something he would probably bring it to le sueur for you.

I once lived in that area and sure would love to visit there again but while I was there I would also visit the family farm in that area which is where my dad grew up

I dont know his name, i pull in there time to time for a look, never been anybody around. I think there is a phone number on the west facing door.

A salvage yard of old machinery, but I don't think there are any tractors there.

It's not on your direct route, but may be worth a side trip some miles south on MN highway 13 and off to the east on a county road NE of Hartland.

Something else that may be of interest is Farmamerica, www.farmamerica.org just off US highway 14 a few miles west of Waseca. I live in Waseca but unfortunately am busy that day or I would show you around at Farmamerica since I'm on their Board of Dirs.

Tom, I live mile and a half outside North Mankato. I don't really know of any parts yards but sure would like if you would stop in for a bottle of be---I mean cup of coffee.

Hartland, I think I got some IHC planter parts there a long time ago, was wondering if that place was still going.

Some tall big antenna tower is fairly near it if I recall right.

Didn?t even know the name of it so couldn?t try to look it up again.
