I thought these old John Deere D tractors looked kind of scenic against the background of a storm rolling in yesterday evening. The rain did not amount to much

Are those your model D? Last year it was our turn
for the drought this year it?s yours I guess seems
like it gets really dry for 2 or 3 years and then one
year we get two or three years worth of moisture
then nothing again

Its just like my dad's D but those in the photo belong to a friend. The "styled" late model D was what his dad farmed with for years. The older version beside it was one we pulled home close to 30 years ago from an old farm yard. I think I've posted pictures of how we hauled it and another one home behind his 3020 John Deere.
