With the price of hydraulic oil can?t afford to have any leaks this will be 4 sets I?ve done this year really need to do the other two but they will have to wait.

I just did a set yesterday om my 2040. Deere dealer said not use the packings on the barrel but to use the oring and plastic back up rings as they are less prone to leaks. Getting that plastic ring installed on the inside grove was not fun for my big fingers. Tom

Some of those orings and backup rings are kind of a pain to get in that?s for sure

Dental picks are a big help for removing or setting internal O-rings.

I have two sets of seal picks one set is pointed and sharp for removing the orings One set is dull and flat for putting the orings back in
