ALLIS CHALMERS WD45 HYDRUALICS

I have an Allis Chalmers WD45. The hydraulic pump was working fine and then one day went to raise the bush hog and nothing! I checked the oil and it's full. Screwing the adjusting screw in and out makes no difference now. Before all the way in and there was no pumping pressure. Screwing it out made pump pressure and the more you screwed it out the more pressure. I personally feel that something is just stuck. Any clues?

Probably the linkage rod from the bottom
quick coupler has fell off. If it is gone
you can tie with a wire in a position
where hyd will work.

All the linkage is hooked up. I even worked it by hand and nothing. I didn't think it was going to be a simple easy fix.

I used to work on these. The tractor has a piston pump and if not used regularly the pistons would seize up in the bores. Not a terrible job to remove the
pump and get them working again. Only part needed was the gasket where the pump attaches to the housing.
