Stuck pin on blade

I tried out the front mount blade on the 1850 last evening. It will move quite a bit of dirt.

I think that the frame is sprung, the left side of the blade is pushing a fair amount of dirt and the right side is just skimming the top of the ground. It has the angle attachment on it and

I would like to take it off and set the blade straight, but this pin is major stuck. I have soaked it with diesel/atf mix and then heated it. I can't turn the pin with a big pipe wrench. I can pound on the pin and it will move about 1/8" and that's it. I tried leaving a jack under the pin with it holding the blade up and no movement. I thinking that the pin is bent. Thinking about trying to cut thru the pin where top and bottom of the angle attachment fastens to the pin and see if I can get the pin out in pieces.

I was able to get the front pin on the attachment out, but it has a slight bend in it, needs straightened, so that is making me think that the pin is bent. I am going to try taking the mounting plate off of the tractor on the low side and force the frame up until the blade cuts level and then redrill it so it's straight. Any thoughts on this??? Chris

This is the type project I like. Yes, cut the pin in two places like you said. There is a good chance the pin is mushroomed on both ends, which explains why it won't move much either way. If after cutting pins and still can't remove pin then you can either weld something on both sides so you can put a big azz puller on it, or just cut the bushing and pin both off. Then you can replace with thicker Dom tubing and new pin. You can line everything up when you attach blade straight like you were saying, tack weld in several places to prevent movement.

Weld a heavy bracket over the top of the frame and down to the ground, while the jack is under the pin. Have a hole big enough for the pin it be pushed up and thru the bracket. Use the jack to push the pin out. Basically you make a press frame around the pin.

In the 3rd picture the pin looks like it has a bend in it to me. Might just be the picture too. If the pin is bent that could be the reason it cuts unlevel. Why not just tie down the high side then push the low side up. Or As you said cut the pin out then put new pin in. Pushing dirt in the past is probably what bent the pin in the first place.

The frame may not be bent. once you get everything freed up, make sure the push arms sit level when the blade is straight. if they tilt up or down, the blade will be be off level when it is angled.
