JD 7410 clunks and jerks when in 2wd

We have a JD 7410 that has a clunking sound and will jerk when in 2wd. When switched to 4wd it smoothes out and doesn't clunk. The drive line has been pulled down and U joints replaced, thinking they could be the issue. While the driveline was down, the tractor was driven and the symptoms did not happen. Once put back together, back to jerking and clunking in 2wd. The mfwd solenoid has also been replaced. Thoughts on what could be going on and what to check?

Has FWD clutch pressure been checked?

Clutch is spring-ENGAGED, and takes oil pressure against a piston to overcome the spring and release it.

I'd check pressure, and it's not a big deal to drop the clutch and drive assembly to have a look to see if something is damaged in the clutch or drive.

That has not been checked yet. Its very noticeable at low speed, low rpms, you wouldn't notice it driving down the road. Jerking every couple seconds. What would be ruled out when it wasn't doing it when the drive line was removed? The mfwd does work correctly. On/off with the toggle. Auto position doesn't get used.

If the mfwd clutch is working as it should, when disengaged it should be just the same as if you removed the front driveshaft.
