Son was down yesterday and said he was cleaning the bench in his shop off and a steel shaving from his mill blew into the hole for charging the small batteries on his Milwaukee charger and shorted it out and it smoked. Said he took it apart and there is no fuse or breaker to protect it. I had a extra one and gave it to him and we both agreed to a high tech preventive fix--we put duct tape over the hole--CHEAP--So if you have Milwaukee's here is your tip of the day---Tee

Same thing happened to mine, they replaced it on warranty. I hung mine on the wall now so things don't stay in there.

Refer to my entry over in off track where I went and saw the man himself in a show Thursday's nightmare. Very good hint. Maximum smoke. Don't that just frost ya?
