What are Case SC tractors bringing around you?

Yes I have a similar post on the Case forum. What are they bringing around you dollar wise?

All depends on condition, but anywhere from $800 to $2000 for running tractors. Tires, paint, and overall condition play a big part. Also, is it an early center exhaust? Is it a late model with eagle hitch, live hudraulic, live PTO? Does it have a wide front? All those factors play into the price and value too. I?m located in MN, and have bought 3 in the last few years. I paid on the upper end for each, but I wanted each for a specific reason, and was willing to pay a little more to get them.

I haven't seen an SC sell in a long time, but I sold this DC to olgentDC a few years ago for $600.

When I was about ten years old,Dad bought an SC from the neighbor. Super low hour, one owner tractor. He had bought it new, then his wife was killed in a farm accident and he quit farming. Dad bought the tractor, two bottom plow and a field cultivator for $300.

When I was in my teens,I bought another one with a cultivator from a guy who my brother worked with. It needed a tire. I gave $125 for that one. Then there was a DC that I got from another neighbor, needed a front wheel bearing. I gave $50 for it. I'd sure need a big building to put them in if I had all the tractors back that we've had around here. LOL

Well RR I did not know you were in to Case. Those things (sc dc cc) were bullet proof around me, just not a big seller. Just can't fathom the low value of them. Good heavens for $300 $600 I would have just kept them!!!

We had a dealer here who sold the heck out of Case. They sold Case and Oliver. They never pushed the Oliver tractors as hard as they did Case. They said they just sold Oliver for their tillage tools. They dropped Oliver when the brand became White. Although I do remember getting some bearings and what not from them in White boxes. All the potato growers around here ran Case tractors.

I only remember one SC here with a foot clutch. A guy right up around the corner had that and a Farmall H. There's still a lot of those old Cases in barns and showing up at shows.

Well I guess if they were showing up at those prices I would be having some tax deductions for my farm!!! I have a foot clutch dc needs total restoration. Makes a big difference if a dealer sold a lot of them in an area. Who knows maybe with the crash in tractor prices there is opportunity for some of us!!!

Dang it,I don't know what's wrong with these downloads these days. I get duplicates and then some don't show up at all.

On new rubber you might get $1200 up here. On average or old rubber you'd be lucky to find a buyer. Right now it's a buyers market for everything related to ag in our area.

I wouldn't feel like I can give you a meaningful answer unless I have seen three sell, so I'll have to get back to you in about 25 years.

Never saw an SC or DC sell, Don't actually remember of any in area. Guess there were a couple of small dealers at one time but they were when I got to know them in the 20-25 year ago they were the only ones to have one around.

There were several sold at the Mecum auctions today. They were driven thru the auction ring and were not restored but original condition. They sold in the range of $1000 to $1500 for the most part, a couple were late models with foot clutch and Eagle Hitch.
