Jamesjtx got six tasco 119270 camera's put them around and checked them a couple days later and I got wild pigs at the grain ben farm seen about four looked like 100# pigs, didn't know I had them, also seen the gravity wagon move around and get loaded with corn and leave.lots of stuf goes on after dark anamils and people on my property

Hopefully if not you moving corn the camera will get a license plate and you can turn it over to Sherriffs dept. If I was retired I would come night watch for you and someone would get a good load of rock salt.

Got any older retired folks in the area you could pay a some just to ride around over there at night? Or get a used camper for for someone to spend the night there?

Traditional, one of my campers is sitting there, that's where I stay when I dry corn, didn't know I was missing corn but its under control didn't know about the wild pigs until I put cameras up...back side farm #2 looks like some kind of cat, several of them, that's where the hogs are pined up about 100 head don't think anything is missing. lots of deer and cyote and no fox

Stonerock I don't tell people what they should do but I will tell you my experience. I began to see some hog sign on the back of my farm. USDA has a guy in this area [TN] that works to control them. He told me I should nip it in the bud. I allowed him to put a trap there and he caught and killed 14 hogs at once. 10 of the 14 were 100 pound sows. those 10 sows were carrying 38 pigs ! That means shortly I would have had 52. A guy across the county let it go and they destroyed his corn crop for a couple of years. They would even go down the row and take it up shortly after he planted it. The USDA guy keeps the trap baited and a camera on it in case hogs start back. This is done at no cost to the farmer. They even use a helicopter to control them if necessary. Jesse is a great guy and works hard to control the wild hog population.

Yep they do there best work while you sleep. First ya need to convince them that they are dealing with a CRAZY person , learn night recon , ya can ask the law for added patrols that will probably never happen , Make it harder for them to enter or leave . Elcheapo gates are easy to go thru so BUILD gates out of well casing and set the posts DEEP and make them BIG enough that a pick up or tractor can't pull them over . Throw in super bright motion detector lighting and a loud horn or siren . Have night time target practice . I will tell you like and old friend told me years back when i was renting his ground way back in the boonies , He told me that to never go to the back place with out a firearm due to varmits and snakes of both kinds . The one's that move on two legs or the ones on four legs or crawl . It took a year to rid the place of the two legged ones , i really hated farming with shell we say SHARE CROPPERS . The law was of no help as they are lucky to have three deputy's working the county at night . But they were pretty good at filling out paper work after the fact.
