Looking at purchasing one of these units. Are they good? Any weak points? I've been looking for one for odd jobs around my property and this one kind of falls in my price range. Does anyone have pictures of one mounted to the tractor? It has everything to hook to the 3 point but it looks like there are some braces or links that are missing from the bottom of it to the top link possibly? Any pictures would be great. It has a self contained hydraulics with a pto pump. Thanks

Here ya go Wags, Mine is a model 730. It'll dig down to about 7 feet but 4 goes a lot faster, at 7 it's really stretching. Mine had it's own pto pump but when I had it mounted to my MF85 the castiron top link mount broke and it apparently bent the pump shaft some. I kept using it and let it woble but I tired of it. I put it on the JD4020 and use tractor hyds.

How it's hooked up left side.

The only week spot I've found is that top link connection. I was pulling on a tree root digging ot a stump and the welds broke. I used a chain to hold it up and dragged it to the shop for a reweld. It's been holding since. I was really getting into it, putting ALOT of stress on it. There are some links that go from the lower part on the hoe frame to the top link. This is to keep the hoe at a certain height, so when your digging the hoe won't lift up and possibly put the operator into the tractor cab.
