Recommend listing for sale $1000-$1500, be prepared to accept less. I have a long string of vehicles like this littering my past. Good idea to get it running if possible. Nice that it has AC--makes it a standout in the rust crowd.

Put a battery in it and some gas and drive it home. It's IH that just the truth of it.

I think your friend will need to get it in front of the collectors to see if there's any interest. Some of the suggestions in the original thread sounded like good ideas. Wouldn't be worth much to me, but I never liked them dumb cornbinders anyway.

Did that with a '43 K-5. Scrape the corrosion off the points with a pocket knife. Put the nail in the slot and fired her up she coughed and belched up a bunch of smoke ...

Well I know you?ve got better sense than to scrap it . I bet if you put a charged battery In it and some fresh gas it would be running . Those old IH trucks are simple and tough as nails . I?d love to have another one like that

That's a 500 dollar truck at best regardless for parts or rebuild.

You could dump a truckload of money into it and it would still not be worth anywhere what it cost to rebuild.
