Had to call dad

Last night I had an image of a t handle you pull and turn a quarter turn. Out of nowhere. Spent some time thinking about it, and it irritated me, so I called.

Old Ford backhoe, think it was the A, t handle on the floor, pull it up a bit and turn 90 degrees. What did it....

Got cut off with "locked the brakes. Same as your Farmtrak, same handle even being the tooling was bought from Ford."

We think the 4 stick pattern was swing, lift, stick, bucket, left to right. It feels right pretending to dig a ditch. I bet either of us could jump on one and start digging with it as long as we didn't think too much about it.

That machine has been gone about 25 years now.

I haven't been on the farmtrak in almost 9 years, I gave it to dad for what was still owned on it when I moved west.

When ford came out with the 4 lever on there Backhoes i thought they where much stronger than the wobble stick backhoes . I guess it was because each valve block was independent of attachment operation therefore no bleeding onto the next block if it was a wobble stick. They didnt catch on as much here in the south and ended up if you wanted a 4 lever backhoe you had to order it that way. I actually saw one on a trailer just last week and it brought back fond memories
