Farmall 656 diesel brake noise

Went and disked with tractor yesterday and when I pushed on the left brake really hard it makes a chatter/ growling noise like some of the older John Deere tractor like 4010 4020 do. Only the left side does it ,right brake work good with no noise. Hydraulic fluid has been flushed twice in the last three months and filters have been changed out regularly.

That model has dry brakes, might need to be taken apart and cleaned of dust buildup, and cover plate shimmed as needed. Make sure there's no oil on the discs, if so shaft seals may need replaced too.

As was said,they are a dry brake,similar to SuperM thrugh 560. Take apart, check and clean.Clean/scrap out the grooves in the disk,clean ramps and balls. Some parts replacement may be in order.
