I've been driving an '07 Chrysler T&C. The thing's been driving me nuts to a point where I carry an OBDII scanner in it.
For one thing, whenever you drive in rain or wet weather it will set a code for the ambient air temp sensor and the temp display will go nuts. Then when it dries out it's back to normal. I carry the scanner in part to erase the code.
Also, the message center will periodically say "Service Tire System" when there are no low tires. The low tire sensors were replaced in all four wheels last summer. The message will go away if you erase the codes, although there doesn't a code come up for that.
Now the ABS light is on, and there are no ABS codes. Haven't figured that out yet.
I have a Dodge Grand Caravan that's an exact carbon copy except for the badge. The Dodge is in my shop waiting to have a bit of cosmetic work done. When I get the Dodge serviced, I'm going to go back to driving it and let the Chrysler drive someone else nuts. For being identical vehicles, you'd think they would drive the same but they don't. The Dodge is a whole lot nicer driving vehicle than the Chrysler. You'd think it would be the other way around, but it's not.
Does anyone have any thoughts on that ABS light?
