Talking tools...what are these?

The one item is just a plain mystery. Not shown is a small, close to 3/16" hole, midway on length of cylinder and on the opposite side of the groove shown.

The second item looks like an old fashioned hex nut driver or a hex chuck key or ???? Has KS-6257 stamped in the side. Slender but very solid.

Both came from my collection (piles, drawers full, boxes) of odd tools from 30 years of auctions. Treasures all. :)

The "T" handle wrench looks like the one we used to
adjust Singer button hole machines back in the 60's.

Since you're in the market for a lathe, you can't toss pieces of round stock in the scrap anymore. That pin is whatever you want it to be.....

The round hollow piece is a collet. Save that those are used for holding morse taper drills in the chuck to drill holes with your lathe when you get it. Or holding tapered tooling.

The pin looks to be a shaft for a gear or something to rid on. Oil supply from the end to the small hole and the groove for a locking pin. Ford hyd pumps use something similar.

I was just telling someone that. I was watching a video last night and thought about it. So it goes in my bin of small steel. Stuff I used to practice welding.
