Sometimes you get lucky

At one point they said 6" to 12 snow. Then downgraded to 4-9. They just could not predict if it would come as rain or snow. S.C. Mn. We were just on the teetering point. It's
about over now and most came as rain. Probably 3" snow.

Well, we're getting it now in La Crosse WI. It started as rain, went to a snow-rain mix and seems to be just really wet snow now. Weather report is predicting the heaviest is yet to come. 32 degrees F right now. We will see how much we get in the morning. Paul

Up here in ND they promised us less than 6?. Last time I went out there was 12? and still snowing 2 hours later.

Same here in NW Iowa, woke up and it was 31 and raining. Once it got to 36 it started to snow and we got about .3 inches. Snow was not fun to move with all that water in it but am glad I went out late in the afternoon to do it because everything is a block of ice this morning.

About 12" in west MN. Gotta give the weather guessers credit. They said 3-6, then 4-8, then, 6 to 10 then finally BEFORE it started 6 to 12".

Rick

We had 11 to 13 depending where one measured. I just got the coveralls off from running the snow blower for 2 hours for ours, and three neighbors. there is about 40 inches of snow, the bottom 8 inches is almost pure ice. Total actual thickness is at 24 inches on the ground in St. Cloud MN. Jim

I'm not that far from Belgian. As mentioned, we only ended up with about 3-4 inches. A lot better than the 6-12 they were predicting originally. The plows are out and so is the sun. Everything will be back to normal by tomorrow, if not sooner.
