This shop isn?t a good YT hangout lol

There?s a young fella that has a one man heavy/farm equipment and truck repair shop close to here. He?s licensed and we?re extre lucky to have him around,fast excellent work and fair rates. I guess he was having trouble with some fellas stopping in just to talk and wouldn?t leave and it was holding up getting customers serviced so he put this sign on his door and I don?t blame him.

Likely the retired/semi retired crowd that is bored. Often they don't understand 15 mins of chatting could be $25 in billable hours.

When. I drove service van I told customers it was a buck fifty if they wanted to chat.

The same thing happened to a friend who had a gun smith shop. When he opened he had several stools on the customer side of the counter but after 6 months he moved them behind the counter, saying he couldn't get any work done. Then he got rid of them. Then he changed his hours to open at 10, he'd sneak in the back and work. But his friends still came in and interrupted his work.
Now he works by appointment only. Sad.
