Hello I have a remote hydraulic on my tractor and need info in it I striped the brass elbow and need to know if I can just plug it or if it's something important

I forgot to mention I'm going to use it as a dual remote I believe it puts out pressure dual so if it's set up for single right now and if I can just plug the elbow and put two connections on it I'll do that

I used to have a Jubilee with the same valve for remotes to use. When you pull up on the lever you are putting pressure out of the rear port of the valve, but when you push down on the valve you are allowing the oil to flow from your one-way cylinder to empty into the reservoir again. Meanwhile the front port is putting out pressure and needs that small line to allow the oil to return to the reservoir also. I instead removed the small line and put a 1/2 inch hose to the filler cap for the reservoir. It worked very well.

Now that I have seen your second entry, yes, instead of returning the oil to the reservoir cap just add a hose and run it toward the back where the other hose also will be.

thanks for the reply so I can just hook it up like a regular dual remote and then just plug off where that small copper line goes right

That is a single spool (single remote) NAA valve that someone has adapted for use on your hundred series tractor.

I've not seen that done before.

Ya I all ready took the sketchy plumbing off including a brass water valve only rated at 100 psi I'm hoping to hook it up as a 2 way valve to use with my disk I tested and fluid comes out right for a 2 way valve but was gonna ask before I plug the small brass elbow the copper line goes to I'm pretty sure it is a drain but wouldn't be the first hydraulic stuff to explode in my face

You are correct, I have the same valve on my 881.
Remove the small line, remove the elbow and plug that port, then add a second line to the rear for dual remotes.
Don't throw that little return line away, a replacement elbow can be found at a plumbing store to put it back as a single later should it be needed.
