Can anybody identify this disc? 3 bearings per side and some green paint.

Why do you need bearings?
Those are bushings and are
tightened by removing shims.
So unless they are worn beyond
the max or broken there should
be no reason to replace them.
If they are stuck they just
need to be taken apart and
cleaned. No help on brand and
I think any parts would have to come from salvage on one that old.

Just wondering if they all took similiar bearing (bushing) parts, or if when they wear out, your SOL. I’ve got an older tractor and wanted to have a decent disc to go with it.

I have no idea what make it is or what it is riding on as far as bearings. It looks a lot like the bearing retainers on my horse drawn disc that have hardwood bearings or bushings as some would call them. I am in the process of restoring a Dunam disc and made the wood bearings Mulberry core. You might take the bottom of one of the bearing retainers off to see what your working with.

I have no idea of the Make or model....my parents had a Disc that looked slimier to yours....it had HARED WOOD original box bushings. I can still remember the
RED Part # on the back side of the Box Bushing:

Bob..

Interesting. Did not know they used wooden bearings.
I’ll probably grease them up and jack it up to see if anything looks sloppy. Still interested about the levers. I can’t look at it at the moment.

The levers will angle the gangs. I would assume the crank would do the same except both sides at the same time rather than just one side. It might even be the levers angle the front gangs and the crank angle the rear gangs. I wouldn't attempt to understand why. Angling the gangs happens to be the only adjustment a disc like that will have. If you pull it out of the tall grass and take pictures it will most likely reveal answers to your questions.

Thank you Dick. The screw did angle the front and back gangs at the same time. I’ll check it out better when it warms up some.
