Talked to a fairly big-time JD collector at a show, about a lavender JD B in among his meticulously restored rigs. He said he had always wanted to get his wife interested in the hobby, so he jumped on it when she saw the B and thought it was cute. He bought it and took it to his restorer- when it was delivered, it was lavender. Restorer said "Your wife picked out the color- and I know better than to argue with her". Guy said, "Well, so do I", and its been going to shows with his ever since. He admitted that he does cringe a little when he looks at it, but he's getting over it.

I recognize the case 400 hi crop. I drove it for spraying row crop. It belonged to a friend of mind it is very low hour he sold it to a collector in FL.It started its life in AZ then to KS where it was used mostly for crop spraying.I have been watching for this tractor to show up at the Flywheelers . was happy to see it.I shared the picture with the former owner he was very pleased.

Thanks for the photos! I liked the variety, and the care you put into taking each shot! There are still a few of those big 4x4 Cases running around here in Wisconsin, but I haven't seen one as nice as your opening photo. Nice cross section of different brands and models. Couldn't get too excited about the pink Ford, but it looked like a nice paint job. Thanks again!

Wasn't able to talk to the owner. I think it was him standing next to the Powermaster, but I waited 10 minutes and
the group he was talking to showed no sign of breaking up.
