John Deere 720 Loader

Looking at a John Deere 720 loader at a Deere dealer for my 4030. Only issue is it has utility tractor mounts, came off a 2840. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the utility brackets would work on a row crop but that a one inch spacer had to be used between the bracket and rear axle? Of course I cant find anything about it now. Dealer swears they will not work and brackets without a loader are hard to find and Deere no longer makes them. I'm good with a torch and welder but not sure if I'm good enough LOL.

The brackets will work and you do just have to make or use a spacer on the rear axle support. Now some brackets where adjustable and you did not have to use any spacers. I often put JD 265 loaders off of a JD 2840/2950s on JD 4240/4440/etc.
