I saw these yesterday at the Louisville farm machinery show. Apparently, they have just become available in limited sizes with more sizes to follow.

Good Year had a display with tires mounted on couple of Kubota tractors. Kubota also had a couple of tractors with R14Ts mounted.

Both Good Year and Kubota had the R-14Ts mounted on a CUT of about 25-30 HP and a utility of about 90-100 HP.

These look to be just the thing for CUT owners who cannot decide between R-1s and R-4s.

I predict that they will be very popular in the 15-50+ HP CUT market.

R14T Tires

Brought to you by Goodyear, makers of the DynaTorque Raidial and the DT710...

Goodyears are some of the most durable and long-lasting tires you can buy, but their tread designs leave a lot to be desired.

Dean we have been party to a test with KUBOTA since mid last year. Have 4 CUTs in rental fleet running the new tire and so far the contractors renting the tractors really love them. Wear and flats seem to be maybe a little better than the R4s we usually run. I think the tires are here to stay.

those should go over big with the amish around here, they spend more time on the highway then in the field.

I was going to agree with you right up until the part about the GY being the most durable and long
lasting tire.

Maybe back in the days of the Super-Torque and Power-Torque zig-zag lug tires. But since they started
the long bar/short bar Dyna-Torque designs, they wear fast and uneven till they're bald.

Good-Year didn't invest in the large rear farm tire business like Firestone did, no "The Machine", mobile
tire test lab.

They remind me of the DT710's. I took more of those things off and replaced them with regular tractor rears than most other brands. I wish them luck with them.

It almost looks like they did what I was thinking about doing to my r4's. I was thinking about taking a siping tool to the lugs to try to lessen the sideways slipping in warm wet snow... A lot of guys have done this on their compact tractors...
