I've brought this up before but noticed it again this morning. Reading the label on the milk jug. In bold print, half way down, it says "this product contains milk"
Looked at other brand jug in frig. and that one does not say it. So I don't know what the hell is going to be in that jug.

I'll bet it meets some sort of legal requirement.

Mines says "Jim do not drink this white stuff, you will like it but regret it" "If jug is fatter than when you bought it carefully smell under the cap for freshness."

I have checked, and none of the jugs I get milk from have any warning labels either. And some should, something like, you?ll get a kick out of this !

something to keep the insurance company and lawyers happy.

hopefully it says gluten free too?

Well, you did ask so here goes. In jug #2 there is definitely milk. In jug #1, it is quite possible there is milk inside.

Yeah, regulations sometimes have unintended results that are very very funny. It is also much easier to criticize than it is to write instructions that are clear, simple, easy to follow, difficult to misinterpret and difficult to cheat around.

I realize the OP means no harm and only to point out the humor, but I have to ask: How would anyone here have written the instructions for the allergy warning labels on food products? It's not easy.

Many people do have food allergies. Food allergies are a big problem for those families and they do want/demand better allergy warning labels on the foods they buy. Every year thousands of people wind up in emergency rooms or are hospitalized because they unknowingly ate foods that they are allergic to. Every year people die from food allergies.

Do we farmers really want to continually tell the public that we don't care one bit when our products or the byproducts of farming hurt or kill the consumers and their family members? The public's opinion of farmers is falling. IMHO, that kind of disregard is asking for trouble and more farm regulations.

I was watching some news feature about "pot" shops and all the little baggies on the wall said "gluten free"

Bruce from Can. - ". . . you?ll get a kick out of this ! "

Only if you milk from directly behind the Cow. lol

Made that mistake ONCE as a youngster, on my Uncles farm, when I was first learning to milk a Cow.

If Cream comes from a Cow,

Does Half & Half come half from a Cow and half from a Bull ?
