That's amazing! I used to make, cart and stack about 3000 small bales of horse hay most years, weather permitting - much more sweat and toil involved in that than in this slick operation!
One question, though - what happens to the occasional mis-shapen/broken bales - don't tell me there NEVER are any, I would just not believe it!

A dairy farmer I worked for would buy alfalfa in small square bales like that by the trailer load. While it was 40 years ago so they were not that sufficiented I can see them being similar now. The place was in SE Oklahoma.

Probably not profitable. They even have an old open station OLIVER pulling one of the rakes! I love it.

Yup most of NW OH is that flat and most of the farms are that clean of old iron laying around or it is inside. Lot of overhead for hay.
