Fellow from NC hauled one to Al for the Red Power Roundup. Had a big turning plow with it. That's a dedicated tractor show enthusiast.

Just how long is that hood? Looks like 15' Looks like it would be hard to see where you are going.

The hood curves down in the front, they have as good,if not better visibility than anything I have driven, if you are so close that visibility is a problem, you probably are going to have bigger problems at any moment.

you learn to follow the nose- wherever it goes, you will be right behind. you do need to turn a little sooner with a 2+2 than you would with a 2wd.

A guy a couple of miles over has two of them that he uses and they still look pretty clean.

Friend of mine had this one. An ugly SOB to operate. So glad when he traded it for a JD8430 MFWD>

Local BTO has a couple of them uses them for vacuum work on grain and pulling wagons I suppose. He plants with a 24 row planter and 60 foot disk to work ground. Has a bout 3 different planters for beans in spring. 4 combines. They were called Pinocchio nose around here.

A neighbor down the road from us had one and his wife drove it most of the time. She said it it was the roughest riding tractor they had on the farm. They only kept it for several years and traded it off .

d beatty. I?ve heard people say the 86 series ih rode rough I don?t know because the last ones we had was a 1586 and I can?t remember riding in it

Good looking tractors bill . I have noticed that tractors with 4 equal size tires really do float across the ground

I don?t think I would have seen one tractor at the red power roundup I would have been to nifty talking to Rachel ❤️

She was there but the couple times we saw her she was hanging out in a booth in the vendor area and didn't seem real out going. I didn't realize who she was,my wife pointed her out. She was in a booth with aprons, towels, quilts and such. Didn't go out of her way to engage us in conversation, maybe her family booth? I dunno. Figured if she was the saleslady she would be trying to sucker us into buying the awesome Ford quilt...
