Case 1394 Weight

Has anyone had their 1394 weighed? I see from different sites different weights ranging from 5700 lbs to 6520 lbs to 7160 lbs. I realize there is a weight difference between a 2wd and 4wd (mine is 2wd) and I guess the weights I see on the sites are dry weights that do not include fluids such as fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant I guess add 475 lbs. The site tractor data has the 6520 to 7160 range and Everything Attachments site has 5700. I am looking to buy a trailer and don't want to buy undersize but oversize means bigger trailer and I am cramped for storage room. Thanks for all replies.

My Case price book shows a std. 2WD tractor weighs 5500# and a std 4WD weighing in at 6712# Both include the
2 post ROPS structure without roof.

Adirondack,
Thank you for the reply. I have a ROPS. I guess the 3 point hitch is standard on the tractor and included in the weight?

Just a few suggestions:

Is there a public scale anywhere near you? Like a grain elevator, scrapyard, plastic processing plant? If so, you might consider getting it weighed and remove any doubt.

How about just getting a trailer that is big enough for any tractor you may acquire in the future? After all, is this the last tractor you will ever own or transport?

Might you possibly find other uses for whatever trailer you buy?

Some things to think about while you are shopping and before you put down some money.

JIMG Thank you. No commercial scale nearby that I know of but I will keep checking. Thank you for the other suggestions. This may be the last one for me --- until I find a better deal!!
