It does amaze me that someone with so much knowledge and intelligence falls into the conspiracy theories.

I have to laugh at that, we have all done that. We all should apologize. We are all not necessarily full of crap, but our opinions sometimes overinflate and spill over our common sense. I've done it, we've all done it. "Trouble with that old boy, he always believes everything he thinks."

And then there is the Man Made Global Warming thing.
 
I am still trying to understand. How Global Warming is causing cold winters. But I guess Al has to make money some how.
 
They could not either so they quickly changed the catch phrase to "climate change" LOL.
Sure it changes it always has ! And as for warming ,good thing it is as way back when in my area there was a glacier !
 
the average coldest temperatures in MN have been getting warmer for the last 80 years, and the polar ice cap is melting at an alarming rate, those are facts. It amazes me how many have opinions on this subject based on what the weather is in their county, and no further!
 
James is just one of countless wannabee assassins who live in their own little dream world. I see he got sprung in 2016, I wonder what he's doing? Actually I did it, hope the FBI isn't lurking on the YT site.
 
Does anybody remember the name of that guy who used to be on here,probably 8-10 years ago,who way heavy duty in to that stuff? He was a mechanic/jack of all trades in Missouri somewhere. He and I had a lot of in depth conversations about his theories,but even though he was as civil as a person could be,there was no convincing him that what he was saying couldn't be true.

To tell the truth,I miss having talks like that with people who didn't go off the deep end with the personal stuff,but held their ground with their beliefs. It was interesting to say the least.
 
Still doesn't prove it is Man Made.Climate of the Earth had dramatic changes long before Man appeared,Earth's climate has always been changing.So if it stopped changing that would be
an Abnormal Situation.
 
Randy - would it be the guy who called himself Trucker 40, or something like that? He used to join a lot of discussions on the YT boards. He was a mechanic/trucker/maybe farmer/pot stirrer, and I think he was from Missouri. I kinda enjoyed him - I don't remember him ever getting hateful.

Well.... climate change is real...

Go to nasa's web site and they say it has been happening for million of years and is due to earths orbital ""wobble"" around the sun. as the orbit moves a bit closer to the sun for a couple of hundred years or more, we have global warming. As the earths orbit moves away from the sun, then we have global cooling... and if the earth moves far away, long enough, we have another ice age. And volcanic eruptions also affect this cycle. I dont know if the wobble/gravity effect has any thing to due with the volcanic eruption cycle????? However who knows, they may also have a link to each other.

Now not to start a fight, BUT....I believe this government website run by mostly scientist may actually be right.

Can we as humans pollute our planet and make it unlivable? Yes, we can,,, But we are not powerful enough to change the wobble in the orbit around the sun. At least not yet.

Hope this does not offend anyone.

Bet someone said that as the 4 or 5 miles of ice where you are sitting melted right now Russ.

Yes the climate is changing. NO IT'S NOT CAUSED BY MAN! It's part of the earth's natural cycle. It amazes me how many people think it's caused by man.

No on has been able to prove that yet. Every single one who has claim to prove has been proven to have used fudged data to get the results they want to prove. At best man is maybe 1% responsible for the climate. You can look all this stuff up. 99% of this climate nonsense comes from the one world folks and not from honest scientist at all. And with the one world folks it has nothing to do with the climate either, they have an agenda.

So Russ, we will start believing you when you can provide facts based on honest science that ALL scientist agree wit. Heck, the EPA's many scientist? Was less than 100 from around the world and they cherry picked them to get the answers they wanted to hear. Never mind that thousands of scientist said they were wrong. Was kinda like when PETA had "doctors" claiming that any meat was bad for you. They had 4, that's it 4. One was an MD who had lost his licence and the other 3 were trained in the mental health side.
