I once spotted this old trading stamp catalog, from 1961, on Pinterest. How many of you remember trading stamps let alone this short lived brand; Top Value trading stamps. The 8 year old girl on the cover was of special interest to me. 11 years later I married her. I still have the original photo from which it was made.

I remember S-H and Gold Bond. Got them buying gas and something else(?). I've help put stamps in books so my Mother could go and get something she needed. Once we got a Cuckoo Clock. Wish I had it. LOL
 
I remember Top Value stamps!

Remember sitting with mom wetting pages and pages of them with a sponge.

Then they went to a single stamp that replaced a full page, but you still got sheets to make up the difference.

Remember the machine that dispensed them? Had a couple of dials on front, like a phone dial. turn the dial around to the amount on the register and it would dispense the correct amount of stamps. All mechanical I'm sure.

I don't remember where she redeemed them, but I remember some thing around the house that were bought with them.
 
Back when we were a lot younger and had been married a short time, I put some S&H green stamps on my wife's pillow one morning. I didn't die but it sure was cold around the house for a day or two. Just can't imagine why she's put up with me for 46 years. Keith
