Break away couplers thanks

Thanks SVcummins and Bob for your help. I have the right part number on the package but the o ring
Measures 1.140 diameter instead of .859. Guess that is why it?s seems to bit big to fit :>

I will reorder it again and see if I have better luck

Hope you are measuring correctly.

If I remember correctly, the "specs" given were for the INSIDE DIAMETER of the O-ring.

The "cross section" is also given, you add 2X the cross section to the "I.D." to get the "O.D."

(Just as a "heads up".)

Well I blew that....inside measurement .86 so probably my
Error back to the drawing board because it ?puckers? when I have it
In place

Can you tuck the nylon backup ring in next to it? or i that where you are having the trouble?

The oring that comes with the reseal kits is now a quad ring with a backup ring I had the same problem until I figured out the only thing that would fit wasn?t an o ring at all

thanks again to both of you.

Bob, I can get the backup ring in ok,but the o-ring
will not lay flat with or without the back up ring

I will try an see if the dealer can get me just the "quad ring"
