Front Wheels

I broke the bolt holes out of a front wheel on an IHC 574. It may have been an implement wheel and was turned with the inset turned outward, I shall look for a replacement wheel with less inset. I have another implement wheel and tire that I have used as a spare, but am wondering if it may also be weal=k in the center. I think it has the same inset as the one I broke. I am using 6.5 x 16 tires and must be mounted with the inset out. There was a post here recently about implement wheels vs. tractor wheels

Implement wheels and tractor wheels are the same thing just may use a different off set to the center. The difference is in the weight rating of the wheels. Lighter wheels have thinner centers and higher weight wheels have thicker centers. The thicker ones have centers of about 1/4 inch thick. Shoups sells the reinforcing rings for wheels. In both 6 and 8 bolt. You could just pound your centers smooth then weld thes rings on and use the wheels like that or weld them in a different set of wheels.
If you go to shoups you will see the different weight ratings I am talking about. They also will give you the off set on the wheels. Free shipping on orders over $200.00 too.

Impliment wheels are not the same as tractor fronts. Tractor fronts have a heavier center than impliment wheels. Go to a salvage yard and get the correct rim.
