1943 JD rear wheel

Good morning, to all of you in the snow I'm sorry. I'm I central Florida and it's going to be a sunny 70's day.

I recently purchased a 1943 unstyled B and when I pulled off the rear wheels I unfortunately found that one of the wheels was broke around the locking hub and the is unrepairable.

So if anyone has or knows of someone that has a Model B SS 47135 solid rear wheel or a pair of spoked for sale I would love to talk.

You might have already done this, but try posting an ad in your local Craigslist and newspaper.

I am afraid you will never find a wheel for that model tractor as it never existed, The unstyled was made in 1935 to 1938 only and in 2 versions, short frame, 1935 to mid 1937 and late 37 and 38 being the long frame. Then in 39 ALL JOHN DEERE B'S were styled. The 43 would be a war time tractor and should have a cast iron front suport verses the angle iron from earlier and later models. And I am not sure but I don't think a wheel from an unstyled tractor will fit on a styled tractor as I think the axle is bigger on the styled that a 43 is. And a 43 would very likely be a 4 speed with spoke wheels as that year would probably have come on steel and not rubber tires so standard wheel would have been a spoke wheel cut down to have a rim for a rubber tire welded on. So first thing to be able to do is figure out what you do have. and if you have not lost parts from your wheel a GOOD welder should be able to fix it no mater how it is broken.

Are you talking about the splined ears that slide over the axle and they are broke by the center of the hub? Of so, don't worry about it. Just put everything back in place tighten the locking collar and it will be fine. I have numerous tractors that have the same problem

What size rims are on there. I’m in north Alabama I may possibly have what you need. Semd me a pic so I can compare
