Some of the roads looked so plugged with snow for different reasons than just the volume of snow. Near all farms had fencing, and fences were right out to the edge of the very narrow road allowance. The wind just filled the road beds with snow. Winding out the road allowance, and raising the road beds made a world of difference. I have seen roads plugged with snow just like the film shows, it is no treat to live through. And I don?t want to go back.

Hope you can get all of it,we don't need any.Back in the 60's we had a snow that drifted real deep in places there was one place near us that had a deep ravine between two hills. The state had two
D8 Cats stuck there at one time.

Over in Pennsylvania in the Lancaster area the twp. bought a referbed airport two auger snow blower. There are a couple of roads near the Strausburg railroad and have seen drifts better than 15 feet. The snow blows across all of the farms and ends up in the cuts.

No chance we would ever get that much snow on our roads. In my county if we get an inch of snow they go by with the plow 15 times. Ridiculous.
