Coolant Leak

I've got an '09 F450 6.4 that is leaking coolant from "somewhere" near the front of the left head.

Too much in the way to see exactly where it's coming from. I haven't pressured it up yet, and it's a very minor leak.

Just wondering if this is a common problem, a place to start looking?

Thanks!

Could be the water pump or one of those O rings on a hose. Frt Covers normally
leak internally & mix antifreeze with the oil, if you haven't kept the PH levels
up it could be leaking anywhere..

I'd check the radiator hose first, they are quick connect type and the o-rings fail, new o-ring or hose would fix that. Water pumps and radiators are also known for problems too. There are several other things that can leak too, so verify before guessing

Steve, my '06 with 6.0 has a minor leak from the back that I have been trying to track down but there is so much in the way of getting a look at anything. I wish that 4play would tell us HOW to verify before guessing, LOL.
