New tractor in the barn

Dave is down to 3 days in Alabama before the big move to Idaho. He had a guy coming to look at this Allis 5030, he went to move it out of the barn and found all the wires burnt up. No sale. So he asked us to come get it and fix the wiring, then sell it and send him a percentage of the sale. May turn out to be a great deal for both of us. 1st diesel tractor at our place. I raked hay a couple times this past summer on this tractor.

They used the tractor the day before the wires burnt. Very lucky they didn't burn the barn down! Crazy how things happen......

I have always liked those little tractors I didn?t know they were fiat built that takes most of the lust for them away

It's been on there at least 15 years. Tractor came with the farm. Dave and his wife have used that tractor a lot.
How much will you give for the weight? I know what offer was on tractor before wires burnt.......I bet it way more. . .

Nice little tractors. My uncle bought one that was almost new. He used it hard, and now his son in law uses it really hard, abuses would be a better word. And yet, it still keeps on going! I used it quite a bit about 25 years ago in his landscaping business. Very handy sized tractors.

They must have been good operators not to bust it off, even grill and hood look good. Somebody closer to you will want it.

Yep, Japanese tractor. I had its big brother, the 6140. Great tractor, all transmission was synchronized, even reverse. The three cylinder diesel had lots of torque. I got rid of it because parts were getting pretty hard to find, and I needed a hydraulic pump.

I have a Massey Ferguson 220 basically the same tractor as an AC 5030,good little tractor but new parts are very hard to come by.Mine was a 4WD and I bought it cheap because the front end
was broken and the owner couldn't find parts.I took the 2WD front off an AC 5020 and put it on the MF 220 use it on the 4ft roto tiller mostly.

No that's the bad news Fiat parts are easy to find and cheap compared to other older tractors, parts for these tractors are extremely hard to find and very expensive when found.

Grandpa, I am very interested in the weight. How much are you thinking? Can send payment and pick up next time I am down that way or get my nephew to pick up. He goes to Auburn. I am in north Al. Or better how much for weight and tractor? Thanks, Lee Call if you want 256-656-7089
